Carles ReigMantra Chillout; is the serial portion of chillout production by the magnificent composer Carles Reig and lovely singer Julia Claire (Sirisat). Actually they stand behind the label OHM Spirit Sound, which is based in Spain. The music speaks for advanced level of working with spiritual and healing sounds, act as an instrument for a therapy and can lead the listener to places enriched with brighten shades and colours. Fluid Cosmic - ReviewFluid Cosmic are still finalising their first album; it was due for release late in the summer of 2006 but due to disputes with their label they have had to push back it's release. Live, however, there are no such problems. Their live show is packed with future hits and leaves you reeling. From the opener (Hapless Pilgrim) to the closer (Whay Can't You Kill Me?) this show is uncompromising and is all you could ask for from one of the UK's brightest rising bands. Watch out for their show, and their album too when it finally emerges. www.myspace.com/fluidcosmic Write Comment (0 Comments) |

Gamma Ray Sam http://www.myspace.com/gammaraysam Front man Dom Bryan formed Gamma Ray Sam after almost dying from an electrocution when working as a roadie for Pete Whiley. I guess you could say the near death experience has served us well as Dom has created the wonderful, melodic album 'A Short Course in Long Term Happiness'. With catchy tracks dispersed throughout the album, and uplifting lo-fi gems, this is one I would definitely recommend to those of you that like Stephen Malkmus and his ilk.
