High Rising are Rising HIGH!! - Indie News Live Review

Back in February 2004, within this Blairite era, lay dormant 3 musically talented young men, all brought up on a healthy diet of rock and roll were given the chance to unite and be heard thanks to the fate of the ever - sliding DJ.

These 3 men met by chance and regularly enjoyed many a booze - fuelled evening bonding to an array of acoustic masterpieces. Later to find that all 3 were quite capable of writing. All inputting their different musical influences.  High Rising was then born...

INL Comments: Oh Please, all of you out there, take a listen to this track!  She's not worthy gave us the tingles at INL land.

The vocal is great. The backing is great. James Blunt voicebox move over! There's not much to fault in this contemporary track. Melodic, catchy, charming, and just the sort of thing I personally want to hear on Radio 1. The sound is unique. A massive amount of ladies undies will be thrown at this lot!  Every so often a voice comes along that stands way above the rest and Anthony the front man takes the lead in doing just that. You gotta listen because this band will go far. You heard it here first remember!

Overall Rating: Superb performance from a promising young band.
